No matter your situation, accident insurance can help provide important financial protection

Self-employed: If you miss work while self-employed, you’re often missing out on potential earnings. Individual accident insurance can allow you to pay for things like child care or even groceries while you're recovering from an injury.

Occupations that most benefit from supplemental coverage: There are certain occupations that may put individuals at a higher risk of accident or injury. These include:

  • Electricians, plumbers, and construction workers

  • Auto mechanics, independent contractors, and ride share operators

  • Photographers, painters, and gig workers

Retired: Individual accident insurance can be a great option for retirees who are living more active lives and want to protect themselves in case of an injury or illness.
